Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah (Yayasan) is seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual to lead our school as Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah School Chief Executive Officer. The successful candidate will have a passion for creating a positive and inclusive learning environment, strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a proven track record of success in educational leadership.

Prerequisite:

  1. Brunei Citizenship or Permanent Resident.
  2. A relevant advanced degree in education or a related field.
  3. A minimum of 10 years of leadership experience in schools or educational institutions management and administration, as Chief Executive Officer or similar leadership role.
  4. Strong leadership and management skills
  5. Strong knowledge of current education policies and trends
  6. Ability to implement strategic plans and initiatives
  7. Strong team-building and collaboration skills

Preference would be given to applicants with;

  1. Additional qualifications in Management, Administration, Business Administration, Public Policy, Management, or Finance.
  2. Professional qualification and membership in appropriate fields in recognized professional bodies.
  3. Experience and competencies in tasks related to management, administration, public relations, and finance.
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication in both Malay and English language.

The roles and responsibilities of the Yayasan School Chief Executive Officer will be (but are not limited to);

  1. Responsible for the overall management of the school, in line with the school’s strategy and policy.
  2. Responsible for planning, and management to support school strategic plans, operational requirements, and achievement of school objective objectives.
  3. Plan, develop, and implement the school’s annual strategic plan.
  4. Monitor student affairs and academics.
  5. Responsible for the management and administration of school operations including evaluation, scheduling, and co-curriculum development.
  6. Preparations of school annual reports.
  7. Ensure the quality of teaching and learning according to specified standards.
  8. Responsible for all aspects of the school’s financial performance and positioning including budgets, planning, and revenue.
  9. Responsible for ensuring that school fees are paid in a timely manner and proper action is taken to address any school fees arrears.
