School Counsellor

Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah School would like to invite suitably qualified candidates to apply for the post of School Counsellor.  The School Counsellor is responsible for 3 Yayasans’ School; Secondary School, Primary School and Kindergarten.

Key Requirements:

(i)        Bachelor’s degree in Counselling, Child Psychology, Social Worker or in other relevant or appropriate fields.

Preference would be given to applicants with;

• Diploma or certificate in education.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ working experience in Government or Private.
• Working experience in Government or Private Schools that gather all year (KG, Primary & Secondary).

(iii)      Membership in appropriate fields in recognized professional body, active professional license/membership with national/international entities.

Roles and Responsibility:-

Overall, designing, implementing and continuously monitoring a professional counselling program at all levels (KG, Primary, Secondary) and sustain. It includes, but not limited to both preventive and corrective actions.
