Generally all projects and activities organized by Yayasan in religious field is focusing on the efforts to improve the Islamic propagations and teachings in the country including providing assistance in religious education.
i. ISLAMIC PROPAGATIONS AND TEACHINGS PROJECT
- SUPPORT FOR THE NEWLY CONVERTS
- FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO CARRY OUT ISLAMIC PROPAGATIONS AND TEACHINGS
One of the efforts to carry out the Islamic propagations and teachings in the country is to assume the role in caring for the welfare and well-being of the newly converts.
One of the efforts is by organizing housing support project to the newly converts. This housing support is meant for the newly converts who are less fortunate and are incapable of building their own houses as well as those living in dilapidated homes which are unsafe to live in. It is aimed to provide comfortable homes to enables them to continue life as a perfect muslim and carry out obligations to Allah Subhanahu Wata´ala comfortably and peacefully. This housing support Project is conducted under Yayasan Housing Scheme.
Apart from housing support, Yayasan also provides appropriate assistance to improve the life and socio economic status of the newly converts.
In the effort to improve Islamic teachings in the country, Yayasan also helps and supports relevant authorities engaged in the propagations and teachings of Islam movement.
ii. CONTRIBUTION TO MOSQUES, SURAUS AND RELIGIOUS HALLS
Aware of the importance role of the worshipping places in increasing Islamic teachings, Yayasan has given financial contribution to some mosques, suraus and religious halls in the country for funding the construction and maintenance costs.
The contribution is also given to organize religious activities as an attempt to prosper mosques, surau and religious halls especially throughout the month of Ramadhan.
From time to time, Yayasan is also contributing materials such as funeral management equipment, religious books, prayer mats, speakers and other necessities for mosques, suraus and religious halls.
iii. FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR COURSES IN RELIGIOUS FIELD
Financial aid in form of monthly substinence allowance was given to qualified students (students who does not receive scholarship from the government or any organizations) to give them opportunity to pursue their studies in religious field in university and higher institution locally and abroad recognized by the government. This aid is aimed to produce well-trained and professional generations in religious field. Financial support, school equipment and necessities are also given to students from the less fortunate family who are still studying at religious schools and institutions.
iv. HIS MAJESTY SULTAN HAJI HASSANAL BOLKIAH MU´IZZADDIN WADDAULAH, THE SULTAN AND YANG DI-PERTUAN OF NEGARA BRUNEI DARUSSALAM´S PERSONAL CONTRIBUTION
Yayasan handles the management of His Majesty´s personal contribution which are dates, ihram attire and telekong. This is part of the annual and special project carried out by Yayasan since 1995.

- IHRAM ATTIRE AND TELEKONG
Dates distribution to all Muslims citizens and residents of Negara Brunei Darussalam regardless their age and nationality, is meant for them to break their fast during the month of Ramadhan.
Distribution of ihram attire (two pieces of cloth for men to perform haj) and telekong (cloak used by Muslim women when praying) are specially for those who want to perform haj and only given during the month of haj.
