Thanksgiving Prayers to mark His Royal Highness’ 36th Birthday

On Thursday, 4 Rabiulawal 1431H corresponding to 18 February 2010, Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah (Yayasan) as the Secretariat of Dana Pengiran Muda Mahkota Al-Muhtadee Billah for Orphans (DANA) held a thanksgiving prayer at the multi-purpose hall, 4th Floor, Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Complex, Bandar Seri Begawan in conjunction with the 36th birthday anniversary of His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah.
The ceremony began after mass Maghrib prayers led by Pehin Khatib Haji Emran bin Haji Kuncang, Mosque Officer of the Sultan Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Mosque. A recital of the Surah Yasin and the thanksgiving prayer to seek blessings for His Royal Highness commenced before performing the mass Isyak prayers.
Present at the ceremony were the members of the Committee of Governors, Board of Directors, members of the DANA Board of Trustees, invited guests including some of the DANA contributors, Yayasan officers and staff as well as teachers from the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah School.
